WEP encryption

Choose either
64 Bit Keys
or
128 Bit Keys
, depending on the settings of the other
WLAN components.

Enter the key, that is used by your other WLAN components.

Passphrase
– Enter the string, with which you generated the key for the other
WLAN components. Then click
Generate
.
The generated key will be inserted into the field

– Activate one of the fields and enter the key.

If required, enter more keys.

to continue with the camera settings.
WPA encryption
The WPA encryption generates keys using TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol). TKIP
consists of various keys and has the advantage, that the components of a WLAN use dif-
ferent keys. The keys will be generated and renewed automatically.

Enter that key in the
Pre-Shared Key
field, that you used for WPA encryption of your
WLAN router.
