operating mechanisms for the earthing switches, on the
shutters and on the withdrawable units.
• grease the door hinged and locks.
4.2 Repair work
4.2.1 Outwitting the door interlock in emergencies
The door interlock of the HV compartment should only be
outwitted if the withdrawable unit cannot be drawn out into
the disconnected position after a fault has occurred and if
repair work is not possible otherwise.
Isolate and earth the switchboard in accordance with DIN
VDE 0105.
Proceed as follows:
• Unscrew the door locking pin (8,Fig.17). For this purpuse
insert a screwdriver into opening 14 (Fig.14) and unscrew
the pin.
• Insert the double-bit key into lock 10 and turn
anticlockwise by 90
o
.
• Lift the door catch (11,Fig.14) to the stop and open the door.
On completion of repair work screw the door locking pin (8,
Flg.17) into the door locking strip (9,Fig.17). Adjust to 32mm
(Fig.18)
4.2.2 Mechanically emergency Off operation
by means of hand crank for moving the withdrawable unit:
• Shift the unlocking knob (8,Fig.14) to the right and insert
the hand crank (7,Fig.14) into the opening.
• Turn the crank anti-clockwise by 90° from the “locked”
position into the “free” position (Fig.15 center).
4.2.3 Replacement of parts
Items such as post insulators, bushings, contacts, measuring
instruments, current tranfermers, etc. can be replaced by
new ones.
If replacement is likely to prove difficult, ask Siemens
Switchgear Ltd., Shanghai in good time for a fitter to be
assigned.

every year
• general visual inspection.
• check accessories for completeness and proper condition.
every five years
provide a safeguard to prevent unintentional reclosing of
the switchpanels, check its isolated state, earth and
short-circuit (DIN VDE 0105) the feeders and busvars if
work has to be carried out in the busbar compartment.
• Move the withdrawable unit into the disconnected
position.
• Perform a trial operation of the vacuum contactors and
of the earthing switches.
• Withdraw the units (refer to 3.4.1.2) and perform all the
maintenance work specified. Carry out the maintenance
and servicing work for built in equipment such as current
