Safety switch

The IME2S safety switch is operated with 24 V DC and provides a signal when the protec

-

tion hood is open (end position).

5.2.1

Signal release for laser scanner

The signal for the laser scanner may only be released when the protection hood has 

reached the end position.

The signal of the safety switch must be switched with a logic operation.

If both are fulfilled, the release (e.g. for a move command) takes place and the laser 

scanner is active.
