Diagnostic data via PROFIBUS
The diagnostic concept for the IOLM consists of two components. Firstly, diagnostic data is
supplied to the control system via PROFIBUS in the form of diagnostic bytes. Secondly,
local diagnostics are available, whereby the error type is indicated by the specific color
coding of the LEDs on the IOLM.
PROFIBUS diagnostics consist of five blocks:
