6 Troubleshooting
Before sending the product in for repairs, inspect it one more time. If it still does not
function properly, contact your Sibata representative or the store where you purchased the
product.
Note: Be sure to operate the product using a new AA alkaline battery.
Problem Cause

The fan motor does
not rotate and the
LED indicator does
not illuminate.
A battery is not installed.
Install a new battery.
The battery is depleted.

The battery terminals
are oriented incorrectly.
Install the battery with the negative
(-) terminal oriented toward the
battery cap.
The battery cap is not
fastened tightly.
Fasten the battery cap properly.
The main unit has failed
or malfunctioned.
Have it repaired.
The fan motor
functions, but the
LED does not
illuminate.
The battery is depleted.
Install a new battery.
The LED has failed or
malfunctioned.
