SAFETY FEATURES
This SHX tower heater features a protection system designed to protect
the appliance and to minimise the risk of fire.
Please be aware that the mechanisms are not intended to act as an auto-
stop or other convenience function. Always switch the appliance off,
unplug from the power socket and allow the fan heater to cool before
moving, cleaning or putting it in storage.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
If there is any danger of the appliance overheating (e.g. because something is
covering it or due to power supply overload ...), the indicator light will light up
and the built-in overheating protection will switch the appliance off.
Once it has cooled, the appliance switches back on automatically and resumes
its previous operation.
ATTENTION
A common cause of overheating is among other things the
build-up of dust or fluff inside the appliance. You are
advised to clean the appliance regularly and to use a
vacuum cleaner to remove such build-up.
