SAFETY MEASURMENTS
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
If there is any risk of overheating (e.g. when device is covered) the overheat protection
switches off the device.
As soon as the device cools down it turns back on automatically and continues operating as
before.
A common cause of overheating are deposits of dust or lint in the device. Therefore, clean
the device regularly and remove these deposits with a vacuum cleaner.
TIP-PROTECTION
As soon as the device is tilted a few degrees from its vertical position, if you lift the device or
accidentally knock it over, the anti-tip device releases and the device switches off.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Before cleaning the device, switch off the heater, pull out the mains plug and then wait
until the device has completely cooled down.
Clean the device by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth and afterwards wipe it dry.
Do not dip the device in water or splash it with any other liquid.
Do not use gasoline, alcohol or solvents for cleaning the device.
Do not spray insecticides or similar means on the device.
Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
DO NOT COVER THE DEVICE

ACTIVITIES AT THE BEGINNING / END OF THE SEASON
At the end of the season
Turn off the device and unplug it afterwards.
Empty the water tank.
Pack up the appliance and store it in a cool, dry place.
At the beginning of the season
Check that the power supply cable is OK and that the socket is working properly.
Follow the installation and safety instructions carefully.
