Wake on Lan (J13)
Attach a 3-pin connector from the LAN card which supports the Wake-On-
LAN (WOL) function. This function lets users wake up the connected system
through the LAN card.
Pin Assignments:
1=VCC5SBY
2=GND
3=GPIO12
IR Connector(J17)
If you have an Infrared device, this mainboard can implement IR transfer
function. To enable the IR transfer function, follow these steps:
IR Pin Assignments:
1=VCC
2=CIRRX
3=IRRX
4=GND
5=IRTX
Note :
Before connect your IR device, please be sure each IR on board pin
allocation is matchable with the pin of the IR device. Otherwise,
incorrect IR connection may do damage to your IR device.
Step 1.
Attach the 5-pin infrared device cable to J17 connector.
(Refer to the above diagram for IR pin assignment.)
Step 2.
Configure the Infrared transfer mode in field "UART Mode Select"
of "Integrated Peripherals" sub-menu in BIOS setup program. This
mainboard supports IrDA, ASKIR, or Normal transfer modes.
