Use the MENU button to exit the current submenu, to return to the Main Menu and to return to the
start screen.

Use the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate through the menus or to increase/decrease numeric values.
●
Use the ENTER button to open the desired menu, to confirm your choice or to set the currently
selected value.
Start-up
The device has a power switch.
●
Press the power switch (10) in ON position to turn the device on.
●
Press the power switch (10) in OFF position to turn the device off.
Upon start-up the display will show a splash screen with the logo of Showtec followed by the name of the
device:
Immediately afterwards the display will show the start screen. The start screen provides information about
the DMX starting address of the device and the universe number:
DMX starting address 001 and universe 052
DMX signal is present
DMX signal is lost
Ethernet connection on port A.
Note:
If you choose hexadecimal (HEX) as input method in the Set Universe menu, the universe
number will be shown in hexadecimal format on the start screen. See 6.6.12. Set Universe
on pages 31–32 for more information.
