• Follow service manual warnings when working
around air bag components or wiring.
If service manual instructions are not followed, an air
bag may deploy unexpectedly, resulting in injury.
Note an air bag can still deploy several minutes after
ignition key is off (or even if vehicle battery is
disconnected) because of a special energy reserve
module.
An airbag opening can cause injury.
