Post Driver Disassembly
Springless Post Driver shown horizontally on suitable
stands.
NOTE:
The upright assembly is heavy. Use an
appropriate lifting device to position the Post
Driver assembly horizontally, on suitable stands
(see above), pallet, or blocks on the ground.
Lower Driver Cylinder mounting hardware.
1.
Remove bolts (arrows above) that mount
the drive cylinder to the carriage channel.
Upper Driver Cylinder Self-Locking Nut and Lock Washer.
2.
Remove the Upper Cylinder Rod Self-
Locking Nut (arrow above) and lock washer
from the Drive Cylinder Piston.
NOTE:
Do
not reuse self-locking nut. Replace with a
new self-locking nut.
3.
Slide the main carriage channel downward.
Driver Cylinder removal.
4.
Remove the Drive Cylinder by sliding it out
the top of the Drive Ram Assembly (see
above).

5.
Remove the Road Lock Bracket (arrow
above) from the Main Carriage Channel.
CAUTION:
Main Carriage Channel is heavy
(approximately 280 lbs.), so get assistance
and/or use an overhead lifting device to support
it during removal.

6.
Remove the Main Carriage Channel by
sliding it out of the top of the Driving Ram.
