Execution of the function
<Lead edge image loss adjustment>
Turn the VR202 on the main PWB, so the misfeed indicator will light (from blinking to
constantly on state). Under this state, the adjustments are allowed. When the VR202 is turned
clockwise, the lead edge image loss becomes smaller.
When the VR202 is turned counterclockwise, the lead edge image loss becomes greater.
When the EXPOSURE key is pressed after completion of the setting, the set value is
established and automatically stored. The misfeed indicator goes off.
<Copy lamp manual normal range brightness setting>
When the misfeed indicator goes off, the TD cartridge replacement indicator blinks. Press the
EXPOSURE key and turn the VR202, and the misfeed indicator will light up (from blinking),
allowing the adjustment. When the VR202 is turned clockwise, the brightness is increased.
When the VR202 is turned counterclockwise, the brightness is decreased.
After completion of the setting, before pressing the EXPOSURE key, place a white paper on
the table glass and press the EXPOSURE key. The set value is established and stored, and
the TD cartridge replacement indicator goes off.
<AE gain setting (auto)>
When the TD cartridge replacement indicator goes off, the LIGHT exposure indicator lights up.
At the same time, the copy lamp lights up to set the AE (auto exposure) gain.
After completion of AE (auto exposuse) gain, the copy lamp and the LIGHT exposure indicator
go off and the exposure AUTO lamp blinks.
