WARNING
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
1. Only use tap water which is suitable for drinking. Do not use groundwater.
2. Always use the unit with 1 Activated Carbon (AC) cartridge and 2 Ultra Filter (UF) cartridges

tted
correctly.
3. Use the unit after running water through it for 10 seconds everyday.
4. Use the unit after running water through it 3 minutes if it has not been used for more than 2 days.
If it has not been used for more than 1 month, carry out "
fi
lter self-cleaning" for 5 minutes, and then run
the water through the unit for 10 seconds.
5. Do not run hot water (over 38°C) through the unit.
(This will cause malfunctions for the unit and tubes.)
6. If you want to keep the puri
fi
ed water through the unit, pour the puri
fi
ed water into the clean sealed
container. Keep it in a refrigerator and use the puri
fi
ed water within 2 days.
7. Do not connect the tubes supplied, into other appliances.
8. Do not use the puri
fi
ed water for
fi
sh-breeding tanks, etc.
9. Keep the unit from freezing.
10. Be careful when cleaning the unit. Corrosive cleansers may damage the exterior.

E-6. Never touch the connecting part of both cartridges and the unit when replacing the
fi
lter cartridges.

FILTER SELF-CLEANING
This appliance has “
fi
lter self-cleaning” function for ultra
fi
lter for purifying water.
“Filter self-cleaning” cleans the
fi
lter with puri
fi
ed water
from the “Ultra
fi
lter for cleaning” instead of tap water.
It removes the dirt of
fi
lter and prevents the clogging.
Carrying out “filter self-cleaning” once a week, you
can maintain the
fl
ow of puri
fi
ed water for the long
term. See page E-6 for the standard life time of each
cartridge.
NOTE:
When the puri
fi
ed water
fl
ow has been decreased even
if “
fi
lter self-cleaning” has been carried out, replacement
of
fi
lter cartridge may be necessary. See page E-6.
P R O C E D U R E

Select “FILTER
CLEANING” with the
mode select lever of
the unit.

Select “PURIFIED” with
the Puri
fi
ed/tap select
lever of the diverter
valve.
Open the tap, and run the water through the
unit. Keep the water
fl
ow from the diverter
valve for about 5 minutes.
The dirty water will be drained through the
drain tube.

After 5 minutes, close
the tap and change the
mode select lever to
“PURIFIED”.
Open the tap, and run the water through the
unit for 10 seconds.
