Please check the following before calling for service.
1 .
Power Supply
Check the power plug is properly connected to a suitable wall outlet.
Check the line fuse/ circuit breaker is functioning properly.
2 .
W hen the door is opened, does the oven lamp light?

3 .
Place a cup of water (approx. 150 ml) in the oven and close the door securely.
Programme the oven for one minute on 100 P power and start the oven.
Does the oven lamp come on?
YES
NO
Does the turntable rotate?
N OTE:
The turntable turns in either direction. YES

Does the ventilation work?
YES
NO
(Place your hand over the ventilation openings and check for air flow.)
After 1 minute does the signal sound?
YES

Does cooking in progress indicator go off?

Is the cup with water warm after the above operation?
YES
NO
4 .
Programme the grill for three minutes and start the oven.
After 3 minutes does the grill heating element become red?
YES
NO
If “NO ” is the answer to any of the above questions, call your dealer or an authorised SHARP Service Agent
and report the results of your check.
Ca ution
Do no t use co mmercial o ven cleaners, abrasive
harsh cleaners o r sco uring pads o n any part o f
yo ur micro wave o ven.
O ven ex terior
The o utside o f yo ur o ven can be easily cleaned
with mild so ap and water. Make sure that the
so ap is wiped o ff with a mo ist clo th, and dry the
exterio r with a so ft to wel.
Control pa nel
O pen the do o r befo re cleaning to de-activate the
co ntro l panel. Care sho uld be taken in cleaning
the co ntro l panel. Using a clo th dampened with
water o nly, gently wipe the panel until it beco mes
clean. Avo id using excessive amo unts o f water.
Do no t use any so rt o f chemical o r abrasive
cleaner.
Oven Interior
1 .
For cleaning, wipe any spatters or spills with a soft
damp cloth or sponge after each use while the
oven is still warm. For heavier spills, use mild soap
and wipe several times with a damp cloth until all
residues are removed.

Make sure that mild soap or water do not
penetrate the small vents in the walls which may
cause damage to the oven.
3 .
Do not use spray type cleaners on the oven interior.
4 .
Heat up your oven regularly by using the grill,
refer to note 2 on page 10. Remaining food or fat
splashed can cause smoke or a bad smell.
Turnta ble a nd Roller sta y
Remo ve the turntable and ro ller stay fro m the o ven.
W ash the turntable and ro ller stay in mild so apy
water. Dry with a so ft clo th. Bo th the turntable and
the ro ller stay are dishwasher safe.
Door
To remo ve all trace o f dirt, regularly clean bo th
sides o f the do o r, the do o r seals and surfaces with
a so ft, damp clo th.
Ra ck
This sho uld be washed in a mild washing up liquid
so lutio n and dried. The rack is dishwasher safe.

N OTE:
If you cook the food over the standard time
with only the same cooking mode, the power of
the oven will lower automatically to avoid
overheating.
