Sending a Sound File with MMS
1.
Perform steps 1 to 4 in “Playing Back Sounds” on
page 84.
2.
Press
a

b
to highlight the file name you wish
to send, then press
A
[Options].
The Options menu is displayed.

to highlight “Send”, then press

[Select] to select.

Press
a
or
b
to highlight “As Multimedia”, then
press
to select.
If you select your original ringtone in step 2, perform
the following, otherwise go to step 6.
5.
Press
a
or
b
to highlight the file format “SMAF”,
“MIDI” or “i Melody”, then press
to select.
For details on creating a message, see “Creating a
New MMS” on page 58.
Note
• MP3 sound files cannot be sent attached to a
message.
• Sounds protected with a copyright cannot be sent
attached to a message.
• Only the first part of the data is converted if you
select “i Melody” in step 5.
Downloading Sound Files
1.
Perform steps 1 to 3 in “Playing Back Sounds” on
page 84.
2.
Press

or
b
to highlight “More Sounds”, then
press
to
select.
The sound file download site is displayed.
