iPod
and iPhone
Navigating the iPod or iPhone menus with the
remote control
Notes:
When navigating the iPod menus with remote control, do not
operate any of the buttons on the iPod unit.
The volume level is adjusted by pressing the VOL (+ or –) on the
main unit or the remote control. Adjusting the volume on the iPod
unit gives no effect.
Watching videos on a TV connected to iPod
Note:
If the TV Out setting is already turned On at video menu, the video is
automatically displayed on the TV screen when / key is pressed.
iPod operation
The operations described below depend on the generation of iPod
you are using.
iPod dock door operation
Open
When the main unit is powered on.
Close
- When turning the main unit to stand-by mode without iPod or
iPhone unit docked.
- When canceling the demonstration mode without iPod or iPhone
unit docked.
Notes:
System on operation
When the main unit is powered on, the iPod unit will automatically
power on when docked in the unit (including alarm function).
System off (stand-by operation)
When the main unit is turned to stand-by mode, the docked iPod unit
will automatically turn to stand-by mode and iPod dock door will
remain open.
iPod or iPhone playback detection function
Once play button on iPod or iPhone unit is pressed, the unit will
automatically change to iPod function overriding the previous
function selected.
Caution:
Unplug all accessories for the iPod or iPhone before inserting it
into the iPod dock.
Stop button ( ) is invalid during iPod function.

Press the CLEAR button to view the menu on iPod unit.
Press it again to go back to previous menu.

Use the TUNING ( or ) button to select an item on the
menu and then press MEMORY button.

Select the desired video from iPod unit to be played.

Press the / button to start playback.

Press the DISPLAY button for more than 2 seconds. The
video will be displayed on TV screen. To return to the iPod
screen, press the DISPLAY button again for more than 2
seconds.

The iPod dock door remain open when turning the main unit to
demonstration mode or standby mode with iPod or iPhone unit
docked.

The iPod dock door remain close when turning to demonstration
mode from stand-by mode.
