Troubleshooting
Problem
Pre-programming: Only a few digital stations
are shown in the station list.
Message “Station coded”
Message “No signal”
Message “Stations no longer available”
Message “Transmission break”
Message “Please wait”
No sound is emitted from the speakers of the
television set.
Two identical informations for one programme
are displayed in the EPG (DVB) list.
No Digital Teletext possible (UK).
Possible cause
The selected station cannot be decoded.
The antenna signal is not available.
The stored station data is no longer available.
Key data is being stored. This can take a few
seconds.
“Dolby Digital” is selected in the menu “Lan-
guage/sound selection”.
DVB subtitles are active.
Possible solution
Start the automatic station search (see page
13).
a) No suitable CI module is present, or it isn’t
plugged in correctly.
b) The smart card isn’t plugged in
c) The station hasn’t been released.
a) The antenna cable isn’t connected, or isn’t
connected to the correct socket (SAT A/D).
b) The antenna system is not set correctly.
Check your settings.
c) The satellite antenna isn’t aligned correctly
or reception is impaired (e.g. the antenna is
iced up or covered with snow).
a) The station has ceased operating.
b) The station has changed its transmission
parameters.
The station is currently unavailable.
Please do not turn your device off during this
time.
Connect the DIGITAL (SPDIF) OUT output to an
external AV receiver or change the settings in
the language/sound selection menu (see page
18 Status Display).
The EPG data are received for one station via
DVB-T and DVB-S.
You can deactivate one of the two stations in
the “EPG menu – Station selection”.
Turn off DVB subtitles.
