the
external
memory
LIFO
(last-in,
first-out)
Stack
are
popped
into
register
pair
qq.
The
Stack
P
o
inter
(SP)
register
pair
holds
the
16-bit
address
of
the
current
"top"
of
the
Stack.
This
instruction
first
loads
into
the
low
order
portion
of
qq,
the
byte
at
the
memory
location
corresponding
to
the
contents
of
SP;
then
SP
is
incremented
and
the
conte
n
ts
of
the
corresponding
adjacent
menory
location
are
loaded
into
the
high
order
portion
of
and
the
SP
is
now
incremented
again.
The
