WARNING
This item of equipment is a lift pump for waste water from a
shower and a washbasin. It starts automatically.

INSTALLATION
The equipment must be easily accessible for inspection and
maintenance. The pump is fitted with fastening systems to prevent it
from turning or moving (see fig. n° 6).

CONNECTING UP THE SIDE INLETS
Use a sleeve
A
to connect up the side inlet of the tank
(see fig. n° 6a).

CONNECTING UP SANITARY FITTINGS
• Installation alongside the shower tray (in conformity with stan-
dardNF-C15100), see fig. n° 6b 1:
Connect one end of the sleeve

to the lower inlet on the unit
and the other end to an ND 40 mm tube. Fix it using the collars

. Use pliers to tighten the collars

Attention :
make sure that the shower outlet is at least60 mm
above the floor.
• Installation under the shower tray (see fig. n° 6b 2):
Raise the shower tray by at least 145 mm to leave room for the
unit.
Attention :
Install an inspection cover for the unit, measuring at
least L=400 mm x H=145 mm. The system adopted to open the
cover must involve the use of a tool.
Connecting up the optional extra inlet (see fig. 6b 3):
• Carefully cut away the opening selected, with a cutter. Avoid
cutting at a sharp angle, and trim the edges.
Attention :
The hole cut out must be perfectly smooth to provide
a good seal.
• If necessary, cut off the end of the stepped ND 40 sleeve. Insert
the neck of the sleeve in the hole opened in the tank. Connect
up the tube and fix it with the collar

CONNECTING UP THE WASTE OUTLET PIPE (see fig. 6c):
• Insert the elbow in the rubber outlet and fix it in place with a
collar

• Connect the check valve to the other end of the elbow and fix it
in place with a collar

• If the check valve is fitted horizontally, use rigid 22 mm tube to
connect the unit to the valve inlet. Fix both ends using the col-
lars

TECHNICAL ADVICE FOR THE WASTE SYSTEM
To avoid siphoning, install a vacuum breaker (Nicoll or similar
type) at the high point of the installation.

IF WORK IS REQUIRED
Install a drain-valve at the low point of the waste outlet riser pipe
to enable it to be drained if work is necessary.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Use a battery that is in good condition and is able to supply the
necessary current: 12V=28A / 24V=14.5A.We recommend adding
a 30A circuit breaker for a 12V installation and a 20A circuit
breaker for a 24V system.

USE
The
SANIMARIN
®
PUMP
unit is designed solely to discharge
wastewater from: showers, washbasins or bidets. Attention: never
empty any products such as solvents, paints, caustic soda, acids
or other chemicals into the sanitary fittings connected to this type
of unit. Depending on the use made of this unit, it may require
cleaning from time to time.

REMOVAL
Before carrying out any work on the unit, disconnect it from the
electrical power supply .This unit does not require any particu-
lar maintenance. In the event of a failure, all work on the unit
must be carried out by a repair specialist approved by SFA. This
includes in particular all work to replace the power lead.

GUARANTEE
This SFA unit is covered by a 2-year guarantee subject to correct
installation and use of the unit, in compliance with the provisions
set out in these instructions.
