Additional probes
Various probes can be connected to the gas input of the device.
The choice of a suitable probe depends on the application and
the situation on site.
The
PM 5 short probe
is included in the scope of delivery (sec-
tion 2.3.6). Other probes can be purchased as accessories.
SEWERIN will be happy to advise you on selecting suitable
probes.
Note:
Probes that are used must be visually inspected as part of the
device inspection process. In addition, the leak-tightness of the
gas path must be checked regularly (section 3.10).
2.5
Measuring mode and menu
After the device has been started, it is automatically in measur-
ing mode. In measuring mode, the current measurements are
still displayed.
In the
Structure
and
Measuring
applications a maximum of two
measurement values are displayed; in the
Warning
application
up to five measurement values can be displayed. The display
view in measuring mode therefore depends on the application
(Fig. 3).
You can switch from measuring mode to the menu. Whether the
top menu level or the measuring menu appears after the change
depends on which key is pressed in measuring mode. The meas-
urement menu is part of the menu.
