Video Signal Output
Laptops sometimes require an additional step.
Some do not automatically output a video signal.
This is easily remedied.
All laptops have
“hotkeys” which can
enable an external
display. Each brand
varies. But they all
require pressing and
holding “FN” and a
key on the top row of
the keyboard.
As you can see in the picture to the right, this
laptop uses “F5”. Check your computer user
manual to find what your laptop uses.
