Recommended wire gauge is as shown: 16 ga. up to 50 feet.

14 ga. up to 100 feet.
12 ga. up to 200 feet.
10 ga. up to 300 feet.
8 ga. up to 500 feet.

CONNECTING GROUND AND POWER

1) Connect a 16 gauge wire from the ground terminal (TBS-3) of the terminal barrier strip as shown
above to a good earth ground. Do this before connecting anything else to the SAT DBRX.
2) Connect the wires for the power connections to TBS-1 and TBS-2, as shown. Connect the other
ends of the wires to the screws on the supplied transformer (16 vac 15 va). Determine the gauge size
from the table below.

In the event of a voltage surge or other electrical transient, the fuse may need to be replaced.

Replace with a 1 AMP slo-blo fuse only.
