UNIVERSIAL SERIAL BUS (USB) 

All SIM225 variants have a single USB 2.0 Full Speed (12Mbit/s) device (or “function”) capability, though 
not all variants have the associated mini-B connector.  The USB Device signals are also available on other 
connectors, including 

the PCB Edge Connector

 and the Baseboard Connector (when present). 

Some SIM225 variants also have a USB 2.0 Full Speed embedded host “A” connector and associated 
capability for (typically) support of USB thumb drives, keyboards, mice, etc. 

The following chart lists the current SIM225 variants and the USB options:
