1.2 Gas detector identification
The SMART S-IS detector code consists of four parts that identify the various parts (see prod-
uct data sheet for further details):
SIS:
Intrinsically safe detector, SIS model.
Enclosure code:
4A or 2S depending on the detector enclosure.
Transmitter code:
21, 22, 23 o 24 depending on the electronics (type of display and
relay
cards).
Sensor head code:
a unique code for each sensor head depending on gas to be detect-
ed and full scale range.
