•  Check the pa�ent circuit (including filters) and the 

  endotracheal tube 

•  Assess the low PEEP alarm se�ng

•  Assess the high PEEP alarm se�ng 

•  Check the external PEEP valve se�ng, check the valve 

  for malfunc�ons 

•  Check the ven�lator �dal volume se�ngs  

•  Check the system for leaks 

•  Assess the High Tidal Volume Limit alarm se�ng 

•  Check the pa�ent circuit for leaks or obstruc�ons 

•  Check the external PEEP valve for malfunc�ons 

•  Assess the Low Minute Volume alarm se�ng
