Selecting and replacing the ear pads
You can choose between:
•
Ear pads made of silicone, large (pre-mounted upon delivery)
– for easy use due to uncomplicated alignment in the ears.
– Easy to clean and long lasting even with intensive use.
•
Ear pads made of silicone, small
– smaller and flatter than the large silicone ear pads, for easy use
and alignment in smaller ears.
– Easy to clean and long lasting even with intensive use.
•
Ear pads made of memory foam
– for a comfortable, ambient noise-attenuating fit of the receiver
in the ears.
– With intensive use, the memory effect of the foam wears off
after a few months, causing the pressure relief to deteriorate. In
this case, replace the ear pads with new ones.
•
Ear pads made of open foam
– for pressure-sensitive ears and a lightweight wearing comfort,
even over long periods of use.
– Due to the open foam, the hygienic durability is limited. Clean
the ear pads regularly (see page 28).
To replace the ear pads:
1. Reach behind the ear pads with your fingernails so that you can
carefully detach the ear pads from the stethoset receiver.
2. Put the two other/new ear pads on the stethoset receiver. The
rubber ring of the ear pads locks into place on the stethoset
receiver.
