The RF signal indication

(tower with radio waves) on the LC display provides
information on the RF signal reception:

Tower with radio waves:
An RF signal is being received on the selected channel�
Tower without radio waves:
No RF signal is being received on the selected channel or the received signal
level is too low�
No tower, no radio waves:
HDE 2020-D-II only: The receiver is in standby mode� You can, however, change
the settings on the receiver�
Signal strength
The received signal strength may be reduced due to body absorption of
the RF signal�
Charge status LED
During charging,
• the LED

of the EK 2020-D-II or
• the LED
2
of the HDE 2020-D-II
provides information on the charge status of the receiver’s built-in recharge-
able battery�
