With a sophisticated algorithm, the RTU can calculate the Sunrise and Sunset events from the GPS
coordinates and from the Date/Hour. So it’s possible to use the events for turn on/off a lamp, stop the
datalogger etc..
It’ possible to fix an offset from midnight or calculate the events from the GPS coordinates.
If you select to calculate the sunrise/sunset from GPS you can select to insert the Latitude/Longitude
directly or using the GPRS network (Locate from GPRS).
The
Locate from GPRS
option use the coordinates from the GPRS antenna for obtaining the
longitude/latitude. If you don’t use the GPRS you must enter manually the Latitude/Longitude. For
obtaining the right coordinates in decimal degrees connect to:
