NOTES:

(1) Make sure that the cable is  tied to the cable connector in order to 
     maintain the radio frequency transmission performance.
(2) The ground plane should be at least 3 meters above the ground.
(3) No obstruction can be existed within 3 meters from the antenna
     (as shown in Fig 7~9).
(4) Straighten the remaining cable.
(5) Bending cable cord will increase loss of transmission power.
(6) Make a loop before pulling the cable into the house. The loop can 
     prevent rain from going into the house.
(7) The higher the antenna is installed the better the communication 
     will be.
(8) Keep the antenna and cable away from high-voltage sources to 
     avoid electric shocks. Don't install the antenna in the rain to avoid          
     thunder striking.

Press  RD/P  key from TALK Mode

From TALK MODE, the  TALK  key operates as a  FLASH  function that 
allows you to place the first call on hold. Placing  TALK  Key again will 
return you to the first call, placing the second call on hold. 

1. Paging the base from handset

    a. Handset : From STANDBY mode, press  INT  key to establish the 
                         Intercom
    b. Base: When the other party's voice is heard, answer through the 
                  microphone. 

2. Paging the handset from base

 

   a. Base: Press  INTERCOM  key to establish the intercom.

    b. Handset: Press any key except  END  key to answer intercom

During a call in progress, you can press   FUN   key first and then 
followed by:
* Either the ID number of the target handset to place the call on hold 
   and be transferred to target handset.
* or press  0    0  key to place the call on hold and be transferred to 
   base. 
* or press        key to transfer phone call to any one of the handsets.

1. Press  FUN  key,  INT  key then the ID number of the target handset to 
    establish this function.
2. During a call in progress, the call will be on hold.
3. You can continuously press smart switch to talk and release it to listen 
    To.
4. Base unit can join the conversation with two handsets by pressing  
     INTERCOM   key. Pressing   INTERCOM    key again enables you to 
    disable this group conference.
5. You can press    FUN    INT           key to communication with any one 
    of the other handsets.
6. During the conference proceeding, the multi-Talk indicator of base 
    Unit will be turned on.

 

Adjust the volume on the handset can be done during a call or when  

 in the TALK mode. When in the TALK mode, scrolling up or down the  
 smart switch can adjust the volume from 6 different levels.
