HEADSET DEMO WITH A NOKIA 6310(I)
After you have started the XE1401SK Software Demo
, Switch ON
your NOKIA 6310(i) cell phone. Enter the
PIN
code
of your cell phone and after few seconds the
main menu
appears

Put your mobile phone in
Bluetooth™ mode
by choosing the
Bluetooth™ menu

and select the
Bluetooth™
option

Highlight the option “
On
” and push
Select

. Now your cell phone is able to communicate with a
Bluetooth™
headset device

. If you go back on the
main menu

, the
Bluetooth™ sign
appears on the top-left corner of
the screen.
In order to discover
Bluetooth™ devices
, choose the
Bluetooth™ menu

again and select the “
Search for
audio accessories
” option

Push the
Select
button and the mobile phone starts immediately the
search
process

As soon as
devices
are found, the device names are
displayed

. Choose the device you want to connect to and
push
Select
.
The
connection phase starts

and if the connection is established the message “
Connected to
” appears.
Otherwise the message “
No devices found
” is displayed.
Note!
Sometimes the search procedure
i
must be restarted to discover the desired device.
When the
connection is established
the
Remote BD address field
(in the XE1401 Demo Software) contains the
address of the NOKIA 6310(i) cell phone.
Then push any key on your cell phone and the word “
Connected
” appears in the headset section of the Software
Demo. Now the cell phone and the headset are connected and ready for communication.
Note!
If the Nokia 6310(i) cell phone is not used for more than 5 seconds, the headset communication is
automatically put in stand-by mode. Push any button on the cell phone to reactive the communication.
