Posizionatore angolare APX 700 - Manuale d'uso - 41
Using this option (key:
FN + 6
) you can set the error recovering mode: while executing current
program, if APX 700 reads a bad value (due, for example, to an unconnected wire of the cable), the
ENC
LED in the top right corner of APX 700 turns on and the relative relay opens (NC contact).
If the recovering is
manual
, the relay stays opened, and the operator has to restart manually the
execution;
if the recovering is
automatic
, the error state decays as the error is no more detected (the duration
of error state might be insufficient to make relay opening, but
ENC
LED blinks).
Note. While entering value, press
ESC
at any time to abort the operation,
ENTER
(
↵
) to end value (a
single digit) or
←
to delete the last digit entered.

Setting advance/delay notation
This function (key:
FN + 7
) allows to select the advance/delay notation.
Press
0
to set the degrees notation or
1
to set the milliseconds notation:
Note. While entering value, press
ESC
at any time to abort the operation,
ENTER
(

Setting automatic linear advance
Using this option (key:
FN + 8
) you can set the automatic linear advance for one of the four output
groups available (1÷4, 5÷8, 9÷12 and 13÷16). In fact, it's possible to program APX 700 to advance or
delay the states flow of some cams according to the current angular speed of the encoder (linearly):
for example, if you set an advance of 20° at 1000 RPM, when the encoder spins at 100 RPM the
advance must be 2°, and so on.
As said are available two notations (see
FN+7
) that permettis to set a maximum phase-displacement
of ±99° at a speed included between 100 and 3000 RPM or ±300 ms: with negative values the outputs
are advanced else with positive values the outputs are delayed.
Each of the four different advances is related to a bank of 4 cams, but not all cams in the group
must be advanced/delayed: in fact, it's possible to decide which cams have to be advanced (or
delayed), and which have to work normally.
Select the group of cams you want to advance (
1
: cams 1÷4,
2
: cams 5÷8,
3
: cams 9÷12,
4
: cams
13÷16) and the the type of advance (
0
: Advance,
1
: Delay).
