9) SETUP PARAMETERS
The settings on the front panel of G90 are increased by the settings in Setup which can be accessed in the following way (see also
figure in section 8.1):
- Switch on the unit.
- The machine performs a self-test during which only the supply green LED stays on, then the generator's type is displayed ("Gen
90") followed by the panel's software version (i.e. 1.0): by pressing briefly the parameter button while the software version is di-
splayed you enter the Setup Menu.
- The display shows "0".
- By activating the current encoder (knob on the panel), is possible to set the values from "0" to "99" and by pressing the "PARA-
METERS" button it is possible to visualize the value of the associated parameter as per the following table:
Note:
* = By decreasing this value, any low amperage torches installed on this generator can be protected since they might be dama-
ged if used at 90A, the maximum default current.
- By rotating the panel knob it is possible to change the value of the previously selected parameter; pressing the "Parameters" but-
ton confirms the new value.
- The table shows that some parameters have no values associated to them: by selecting one of these parameters and pressing the
"Parameters" button, the associated operation is performed (ex.: by entering Setup, selecting parameter "9" and pressing the
"Parameter" button the factory-set values for all parameters are restored).
Access to the "unused" parameters is not allowed. Modification of any parameters other than the ones listed above
can affect the generator's performance!
In case of doubts we recommend that all parameters are reset to the factory settings (by carryng out a Reset).
- To store the changed parameters and exit Setup, go back to "0" and press the "Parameters" button; alternatively, by switching the
machine OFF no modification to the last confirmed configuration of the parameters shall be stored.
- After exiting Setup, the machine starts normal operation again on the basis of any new configuration of the set parameters.
