(AC) Welding parameters
To access this menu press and hold button no. 7 for 2
sec at least.
(TIG AC) AC frequency
Allows regulation of the polarity inversion frequency in
TIG AC welding.
Allows focusing action and better stability of the electric
arc to be obtained.

(TIG AC) Fuzzy logic
Allows regulation of the power delivered by the system
during the arc striking phase by selecting the electrode
diameter used.
Makes it possible to suitably heat the electrode and/or
to keep the tip intact.
Parameter setting: millimetres (mm).
Minimum 0.1mm, Maximum 5.0mm, Default 2.4mm

10 Welding
methods
In
2 Step,
pressing the button causes the gas to flow and
strikes the arc; when the button is released the current
returns to zero in the slope descent time; once the arc
is extinguished, the gas flows for the post-gas time.
In
4 Step
the first pressure on the button causes the gas
to flow, performing a manual pre-gas; when it is
released the arc is struck.
The following pressure and the final release of the but-
ton cause the current slope descent and the post-gas
time to start.
In
BILEVEL
the welder can weld with 2 different cur-
rents previously set with “I2” (6).
The first pressure on the button leads to the pre-gas
time, the striking of the arc and welding with the initial
current.
The first release leads to the current slope-up “I1”. If the
welder presses and releases the button quickly, there
is a change to “I2”; pressing and releasing the button
quickly returns to “I1” and so on.
Pressing it for a longer time starts the current slope-
down which leads to the final current.
Releasing the button extinguishes the arc while the gas
continues to flow for the post-gas time.
11 Current
pulsation
CONSTANT current
PULSED current
MEDIUM FREQUENCY current
12 Control
methods
From front panel “internal”
From remote panel “external”
13
Signal cable (RC) input
Allows connection of the external devices such as RC.
4.2.1 Set up
Permits set-up and adjustment of a series of additional param-
eters for improved and more accurate control of the welding
system.
Entry to set-up:
press key 7 for 3 sec. (the central zero on the
7-segment display confirms entry).
Selection and adjustment of the required parameter:
rotate
the encoder until you display the numerical code for the
required parameter. By pressing key 7 at this point, you can
display the value set for the parameter selected and adjust it.
Exit from set-up:
to quit the "adjustment" section, press key 7
again.
To exit the set-up, go to parameter "O" (save and quit) and press
key 7.
