Press the On/Off switch (4) to start the device. The operation indicator lights up to confi rm
the start of operation.
11. Run the heated water with descaler through the device until the water tank (2) is empty.
12.
Press the On/Off switch button (4) to turn off the device. The operation indicator goes out.
13.
Empty and clean the coff ee pot (5).
14. After completion of descaling rinse the device 3 times to remove remains of the water/
descaler mixture, see above chapter – RINSING THE DEVICE.
NOTE!
The descaling intervals for your device depend on the following
factors:
1. The degree of water hardness measured in your region.
2. The amount of water that runs through your coff ee maker.
On average, the device should be decalcifi ed minimum every
2 months.
Cleaning surfaces
Clean the device surface with a soft, damp cloth.
