WARNING!

The device heats up water which stays warm for a longer
period of time.
RISK OF BURNS AND SCALDING!

Keep hands and head away from escaping steam. During
operation do not open the swing fi lter or the cover of water
tank.
RISK OF SCALDING!
•
A dirty spout may squirt hot liquid or steam. Make sure the
spout is clean.
•
During and after operation the hot plate is hot. Do not touch
the hot plate while the device is in operation. After use, wait
until the hot plate has cooled down.
• Touch and hold the coff ee pot at the handle only.
•
Should you plan several brewing processes after each other,
turn off the coff ee maker after each brewing process and allow
the device to cool down for minimum 5 minutes. Be careful
when fi lling the water tank as hot steam might escape.
• Let the freshly brewed coff ee cool down to drinking
temperature before drinking.
WARNING!
Lack of hygiene may result in germs in the device:
• Empty and clean daily the coff ee pot and the swing fi lter.
• After each brewing process dispose the used paper fi lter.
•
Empty the device if you are not using it for a long time.
•
Change the water on a daily basis to avoid germ formation.
•
Clean the device regularly, see chapter 6 – CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE.
•

MAINTENANCE.
•
The use of improper detergents poses a health risk. Use only
the cleaning supplies and utensils described in this manual for
cleaning your appliance.
