Do not use power strips, multiple sockets or extension cords
to connect the device to the power supply.
•
You need a power socket that is properly grounded and ex-
clusively assigned to the device. The socket must be fused
with a 10 A fuse or higher. Failure to do so may result in
dangerous accidents or equipment damage.
•
The mains plug and the earthed socket must always be easily
accessible after the device has been installed.
•
Make sure that the power cable will not be damaged when
under the device or when moving the device.
•
The technical data of your electrical supply must correspond
with the values stated on the rating plate.
•
Your house circuit must be equipped with a circuit breaker for
emergency shutdown of the device.
•
Do not undertake any changes to the device.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
•
To disconnect the device completely from the power supply,
the power cord must be unplugged from the socket. Never pull
the power cord if you want to pull the plug out of the socket,
always grasp the plug.
•
Do not use the power cord as a carrying handle.
• Even if the unit is turned off but the power plug is plugged into
the outlet, power is still present inside the unit.
•
The device is only disconnected from the power supply when
the mains plug is unplugged.
•
Thunderstorms can damage electrical devices. We recommend
to disconnect the device from the power supply during
thunder storms.
•
Do not place the device on the edge of a table to avoid the
falling down of coffee maker. Ensure a stable position of the
device to avoid the spilling of hot water.
RISK OF BURNS!
• Place the coffee maker in a way that it cannot fall into a bath
tub or wash basin.
• In case the coffee maker falls into water, never touch the coffee
