Glossary
Antenna
It is a device for transmitting and receiving
signals. The size and shape of an antenna
depend largely on the frequency of the signals
it receives. Handhelds and base stations must
be equipped with antennas.
Call Barring
It is a restriction on outgoing calls and incoming
calls.
Call Divert
It is the ability to divert voice or data calls to
other handhelds or fixed phones.
Call Hold
Call hold allows you to switch between two
calls if another incoming call is received during
an ongoing call.
Call Waiting
You are notified if another incoming call is
received during an ongoing call.
Conference Call
A multi-party call can have a maximum of six
parties. This function requires network support.
Hands-free
With this function, you do not need to pick up or
hold a handheld.
LCD
Usually it refers to the screen display of a
