5. SETTING CAMERA ADDRESS, PROTOCOL and BAUD RATE USING DIP-SWITCHES
Camera address, protocol and baud rate can be set using the camera’s OSD menus and a
PTZ controller connected to the camera or using the camera’s onboard DIP-switches. To use
the camera’s DIP-switches, open the camera’s top cover. The switches are mounted on the
camera’s printed circuit board. There are 10 DIP-switches:
Switches 1 through 6 are used to set the camera address.
Switches 7 and 8 are used to set the camera baud rate.
Switch 9 is used to set the camera protocol.
Switch 0 is used to set RS485 terminal resistance.
DIP-switch settings are 1 = ON, 0 = OFF.
