4.9.2 Panel Resolution
This menu item allows to select if LVDS output must be
Single
or
Dual
Channel.
4.9.3 Color bit Mapping
Using this item is possible to determine how colours are mapped on LVDS interface.
There are two possible options:
18/24 Conv.
24 Non Conv.
With
18/24 Conv.
setting, the colour mapping on LVDS interface is made following the
Conventional mapping. This modality allows using both 18 bit displays and 24 bit displays, simply
using the first three lines of LVDS interface, instead of the full LVDS interface.
With
24 Non Conv.
setting, the colour mapping is made using the Non-Conventional mapping,
which allows using only 24-bit displays. Please check the data of the display you are using to
understand if it must be connected using Conventional or Non-Conventional Colour Mapping.
4.9.4 Wait time
This item allows to select the amount of time that the message
Press
“V” to enter setup
will be
displayed to allow access in Video Settings utility
Possible choices are 0 sec., 2 sec., 4 sec., 8 sec.
When set to 0 sec., it is necessary to press <V> key repeatedly to access Video Settings utility
during POST phase, but this will also allow a faster boot, since it is not necessary to wait for
pressing of V key before starting boot from Boot Devices.
