state of the batteries used. Please check
that the Alkaline batteries (inserted in the
correct position) are suitable and of reaso-
nable quality.
Underwater use
4
Never, for any reason, point the light into
someone’s eyes during underwater dives.
4
Do not unscrew the head of the torch while
diving.
4
In case of accidental loss, remember that
the torch has negative buoyancy and there-
fore, if dropped, will fall downwards.
4
While diving, check that there is not a con-
stant stream of air bubbles escaping from
the torch. If there are such bubbles, turn the
torch off and when safely possible, return
to the surface.
4
Consult a diving instructor to familiarize
yourself with international light signals for
communications.
4
Do not use the torch as a means of sound
signaling. Repeated blows may perma-
nently damage internal components.
4
Check that the torch is firmly attached to
the diver with the fastener provided.
4
The fastener provided is fixed to a loop con-
nected to the rear of the torch. Always
check the connection and the state of the
fastener in order to avoid loss of equip-
ment.
Introduction and technical
specifications.
The X-LED torch is a result of research con-
ducted in close collaboration with numerous
professional diving operators. The innovative
characteristics guarantee a reliability that re-
mains unchanged over time. At the same time,
the mechanical and functional aspects allow an
extremely simple maintenance regime.
This new torch joins high, long-lasting per-
formance, light quality, and reliability to meet
the needs of divers and diving centers.
The strongpoint of the LED system lies in high-
quality luminosity with an autonomy that, in
most cases, is four times that of the average
autonomy for torches with halogen bulbs. The
efficiency and the excellent quality of LED
guarantee a lifespan of 50,000 hours, eliminat-
ing the need for a periodic replacement of the
torch itself.
The characteristic white light allows a realistic
perception of colors while diving, adding fur-
ther significant motivation to the dive itself.
The manageability and the practicality, due to
the reduced size and anatomical form, allow
the diver to keep the torch in various points of
the jacket (including pockets), without being
bulky, while the elastic band provided guaran-
tees the perfect connection between the diver
and the torch.
Another practical advantage can be found in
the use of 1,5 V Alkaline batteries that are
readily available. It is possible to replace the
batteries anywhere without having to find non-
standard formats or electrical power sources
for recharging.
All the components are of high quality and spe-
cially designed for intense diving activity. This
is the reason why we recommend the X-LED
torch to diving centers where a single recharg-
ing with new batteries will allow multiple dives
to be carried out.
The switch-on knob allows the use of the X-
LED Torch even with thick gloves where a sure
grip is required. The switch on the knob offers
safe transport without the risk of inadvertently
switching on the torch.
A thermal protection system does not allow the
LED to be switched on if the torch has been ex-
posed to temperatures above 50°C. As soon as
the temperature is lowered, the system will be-
gin working normally.
