Maintenance and transport
4
At the end of every dive (sea, lake, pool), al-
ways rinse with fresh water and dry.
4
It is advisable to have the product inspec-
ted annually by an authorized SEAC SUB
center.
4
In case of prolonged disuse, we advise re-
placing the old batteries. If the torch will
most likely not be used for a period of mo-
re than 30 days, it is advisable to remove
the batteries from the battery casing.
4
Never insert batteries that present defor-
mations to the casing or loss of liquid.
4
If water should enter the torch, it is advisa-
ble to open it and rinse the inside immedia-
tely with fresh water, taking care to first re-
move the batteries from the battery casing.
Dry immediately with a cloth or with a
hairdryer on a warm setting, paying parti-
cular attention to parts with electrical con-
tacts.
Remove eventual rust from metal parts and
proceed with the insertion of new batteries
to check proper functioning.
4
If a large quantity of water entered the
torch or if it remained inside for a long time,
it is advisable to open the torch and imme-
diately rinse the inside with fresh water. In
this case we suggest you immediately con-
sult a competent repair center or the nea-
rest SEACSUB store.
4
Always transport the torch inside a bag that
protects it from eventual impact.
4
During transport or disuse, the ring switch
must be left in the blocking position. In or-
der to block the switch knob, you must ac-
tivate the blocking button on the knob itself
(drawing 14).
