PROGRAMMING THE TELEPHONE DIRECTORY
The telephone directory is an address book
containing 49 of the operator’s most frequently
called telephone numbers.
To add or modify a telephone entry, press
.
Locate the name of the phone number with the
or keys then the number next to
the name. If this is a new entry, press a number
that does not have a name next to the number.
At the prompt, enter a descriptive name of 9
characters or less in length. The
key
can be used to backspace over existing
characters while the alphanumeric characters are
selected by using the and
keys to cycle
through each
character on the key. If the
key is not
the first key pressed when an existing name is
displayed, the entire name will be erased. Press
the
key to complete the name entry.
Enter the 14 digit telephone number associated
with the descriptive name just entered and press
.
