C. On the dock, turn
OFF the dockside
breaker.
D. Disconnect the
dockside end of
the power cord.
E. On your boat,
disconnect the
power cord from
your boat
receptacle.
F. Clean the power cord, spray the cord ends with
moisture repellant, and store the cord in a dry
location on board.
You must keep the shore power cord and the plug
ends clean and dry. This is especially necessary if
your boat is used in salt water. Always clean and
spray your cord ends with moisture repellant before
using and before storing the cord.
