1. Bring throttle controls to
IDLE position.
2. Bring gear shift controls
to NEUTRAL position.
3. Secure mooring lines.
4. Idle for five (5) minutes to cool the engines.
5. Switch momentary start
switch or ignition key to OFF
position.
6. Turn battery switches OFF.

AINTENANCE
The gearshift and throttle lever bodies are made of
anodized aluminum. To clean them, a warm soapy
water solution should be used. DO NOT use an
abrasive compound.

IGNITION
Pre-start generator prior to getting underway as there
is a possibility that it will not pick up water if started
underway. Make sure the MAIN GENERATOR breaker
is OFF and there is no load on the generator before
starting it.
NOTICE
DO NOT run the engine or generator in an enclosed
area, such as a closed boat house, as there is the
possibility of buildup and inhaling of carbon monoxide.

. Follow the
recommended maintenance and warranty schedule
in your Generator Operator’s Manual included in the
Owner’s Manual Packet. Generator abuse or
improper maintenance may adversely affect claims
made under generator manufacturer separate
warranty.
(Remote control switches are located on the main
distribution panel or local switches on the
generator.)

Check fuel tank levels.

Check oil and coolant
levels. See Generator
Operator’s Manual for
proper readings.

Check generator for coolant
drain plug installation.
