Dialling Recommendations
Dialling Recommendations
It is recommended to use DTMF (tone) dialling mode when other
telephony apparatus are connected in parallel, as LD dialling may cause
bell tinkle.
When connected to a PBX, it is normal to access an outside line by
entering an access number, usually a 9 followed by the telephone
number. If a pause is required, it should be inserted between the access
number and the telephone number. To redirect a call, Time Break Recall
facility can be used.
LD dialling cannot be used unless the external PSU is connected.
