To add a new Telephony Driver
To add a new Telephony Driver::
1. Under Windows 3.1/3.11, open the Windows Control Panel
Control Panel and
select Telephony
Telephony. Under Windows 95, look for a TAPI Settings

option within a TAPI application.
2. Click Driver Setup…
Driver Setup….
3. Click Add…
Add….
4. Select from the list the driver you want to add. If the driver you want is
not in the list, select "Unlisted or updated driver"
"Unlisted or updated driver". Click Add
Add.
5. If the Telephony Control Panel
Telephony Control Panel finds the files associated with the
driver on your disk, it immediately adds the driver. If it cannot find the
files, it asks you to enter where to find the files.
6. After the driver is added, the driver may display additional dialogs to
configure its parameters. Consult the driver's documentation or on-
line help.
7. When finished, click OK
OK to close the list of installed drivers and return
to the main Telephony Control Panel

To edit the settings for a Telephony driver::
1. Under Windows 3.1/3.11, open the Windows Control Panel

select Telephony
Telephony. Under Windows 95, look for a TAPI Settings

option within a TAPI application.
2. Click Driver Setup…
Driver Setup….
3. Select the driver for which you want to change the settings.
4. Click Setup…
Setup…. This starts the setup function within the selected
driver. Consult the driver's on-line help for further guidance.
5. Click OK
OK to close the list of installed drivers and return to the main
Telephony Control Panel
