Warranty Terms and Conditions

 

 

For the purpose of these terms and conditions, the term ‘The Company’ shall 
refer to Scotts Potato Machinery. 

1.

 

All  new  equipment  is  warranted  for  twelve  months  from  date  of 
purchase  or  200  acres (whichever comes  first  or  is applicable),  unless 
agreed separately in writing.  This does not cover for normal wear and 
tear. 

2.

 

Any  component  failure  caused  by  either;  defective  material  or 
workmanship will be replaced or repaired free of charge. 

3.

 

Ball or roller bearings are excluded from this warranty unless evidence 
is found of immediate working failure. 

4.

 

The  Company  is  not  liable  for  any  loss,  damage  or  injury  howsoever 
caused. 

5.

 

The  Company  will  not  accept  any  claims  for  damage  caused  by 
incorrect machine settings or unsuitable working conditions. 

6.

 

Prices listed do not include VAT which will be charged at the prevailing 
rate. 

7.

 

The Company reserves the right to change prices and specifications at
