Typical Relay Output for STATUS Command
STOP Command
The
STO
command causes the relay to trip, opening the motor contactor or
circuit breaker and stopping the motor. For further details refer to
.
STR Command
The
STR
command uses internal relay logic to initiate a motor start. For
further details refer to
Section 4: Protection and Logic Functions
.
SUMMARY Command
The
SUM
n
command displays a summary list, in reverse chronological order,
of all the archived event summary reports (maximum of five events).
An example event summary report is in
. Each event summary
report shows the date, time, current magnitudes (primary values), frequency,
and, if the relay has the voltage option, voltage magnitudes (primary values).
The relay reports the voltage and current when the largest current occurs
during the event. The event summary report also shows the event type (e.g.,
OVERLOAD TRIP).
The
n
parameter with the
SUM
n
command can have a value up to 5 and
defines the number of events requested. If
n
is not specified, then up to five of
the most recent reports are listed.
