Gradient limitation for setpoint value change [setpoint ramp]
Function:
To be able to heat halls / rooms that require very slow temperature changes with SchwankControl, a gradient
limitation for setpoint changes has been integrated. This guarantees that the maximum temperature change
set for heating and cooling processes is not exceeded.
Premise:
The corresponding parameter [heating process or cooling process] is set accordingly.
Execution:
Whenever the temperature setpoint is changed, also when switching over due to the time program, the
setpoint is changed according to the set gradient. This happens automatically with each setpoint change.
If gradient limiting is active, the current temperature setpoint [grey] and the target temperature setpoint
[black] are displayed alternately. This applies to the display of the zone overview and the display of the zone
details. If no gradient limitation is active, the display is the same as before
Example:
The temperature in a historical building may only be raised by a maximum of 0.5°C per hour in order not to
damage the building fabric. There is only one zone [Z1]. The corresponding parameter in the
Parameter/Zone
1/Heating ramp
menu [see section 8] is set to 0.5 K/h.
The temperature change during the cooling process is not limited in this case. The corresponding parameter in
the
Parameter/Zone 1/Cooling ramp
menu is set to
Off
.
