FUNCTION
6.6 Adjustment of the roof / kyphosis - position
Press down the locking levers located on both sides next to
the upholstery center section with one hand and hold the
body section upholstery with the other hand.
The now unlocked gas pressure spring supports the
adjustment process of the cushion depending on the
patient's weight load. As a rule, the cushion must be pulled
up slightly with the second hand.
Release the locking lever as soon as the pads are in the
desired roof position. Lowering the upholstery parts is done
by simultaneously pressing the locking lever down and
pushing the body part upholstery down.
In the optional version with electric motor, the roof position is
realized with a hand switch or foot switch. The adjustment
takes place evenly and independently of the patient's weight.
The motor only works during permanent actuation of the
corresponding switch. In the end positions the movement
stops automatically.
► Watch out for hands and objects when adjusting the body part pads!
► Position adjustment - inform patient beforehand and secure against slipping if necessary!

6.7 Adjustment of the footrest upholstery
The adjustment of the footrest cushion is carried out with
the support of two gas traction springs.
You can raise or lower the footrest cushion by pressing
down the operating lever under the footrest cushion and
simultaneously moving the footrest cushion up and down.
Release the operating lever as soon as the pad is in the
desired position.
The gas traction springs, which are blocked again in the
direction of pull and push, hold the footrest cushion
securely in its newly adjusted position.
